Terms and Conditions of hiring The Flowers at Field
Pick up any dog poo and litter; leave the field as you found it.
There are bins provided.
Please do no pick any of the flowers.
Suitable footwear advised.
No fires or open flames of any kind.
If you hire out a full day we will supply a portable toilet.
Enter at your own risk. We do not accept any responsibility for loss or damage of belongings.
The stepping stones on the brook are slippy, please take care.
Be aware of running water which levels can fluctuate.
Do not swim
Do not stray off the boundary, this is a working farm and machinery will be operating near by at times.
Please keep your dogs on a lead. If you choose to do so please take care to watch them, the field is not secure.
Please respect the livestock in neighbouring fields.
Terms and Conditions of hiring The Field at Field
The Field at Field / R P Atkin/ Atkin Farms (we) will not be held responsible for any client or pet during the hire of our field.
We will not be held responsible for loss, theft, injury, damage or accidents sustained to personal property, individuals or animals whilst using the field or on the property.
All vehicles parked on the property are left entirely at their owners risk. We accept no responsibility for damage, accidents or otherwise, whilst they are on the premises.
The car parking area is small, we recommend 3 cars maximum. Please do not park on the road due to safety.
The field is located on a working farm so please be aware of farm traffic.
Dog’s Health & Handling
All dogs using The Field at Field must be fully up-to-date with their inoculations.
We will not be held responsible for your dog escaping from our field. During field hire the owners is to be held responsible for their dog at all times.
Choke chains, prong collars and electronic devices are not allowed. Harsh handling of dogs, either verbal or physical is not allowed.
Please make sure your dog’s vaccinations and wormers are up to date. If your dog, or any other pets it lives with, is showing ill health (coughing, diarrhoea, vomiting, general lethargy etc) you must cancel the session.
Do not enter the field until the previous customer has securely exited the field with their dog.
When dogs are not in the secure area they must be kept on lead at all times.
Please note dogs using the natural obstacles are at their own and their handler’s own risk.
Ethics
All booking slots are for 1 hour only, (55 minutes to use the field, 5 minutes to vacate) you must exit the field within this time so it is vacant for the following person to start on the hour. Anyone remaining in the field over their allocated time will need to pay for the extra slot.
Any owners who cannot get their dogs back at the end of their session must notify us on 07375 200909. Any additional sessions due to overrunning the time slot, must be paid for.
If the user arrives late, the booking cannot be extended.
Any breakages or damage to the field will be paid for by the dog owner.
It is your responsibility to clean up after you dog, a bin will be provided. A maximum of 11 dogs per field hire booking unless otherwise agreed.
It is the users responsibility to ensure the gate is locked from the inside whilst in the field.
No litter is to be left in the field as this presents a risk to users and their dogs, please take your litter home
Payment, Cancellations and Rescheduling
Payment for field hire is made at the time of booking and which you will received a confirmation email containing the code for the gate.
Any appointments cancelled or rescheduled within 48 hours of your slot time, unfortunately cannot be refunded.
There will be a £5 fee within 24 hours of cancelling your booking.
The Field
We inspect the field and fencing daily to maintain security but please notify The Field at Field if you have any concerns on 07375 200909. CCTV is in operation.
When arriving at The Field at Field – please pull up to the gate (the gate opens towards you so give yourself plenty of room) open the lock using the code that was sent to you on your confirmation email, drive your car in and park up, close and lock the gate behind you before letting out your dog(s).
After you session has ended, please put your dog(s) back in the car before opening the gate to leave, exit the field then close and lock the gate behind you. Please remember to use hand sanitiser before and after you’ve touched the gate during the Covid-19 restrictions.
Users must inspect the field to ensure that it is suitable for use by their dog(s), fence height, proximity to farm animals etc.
During poorer weather the field may be muddy and waterproof footwear is advised.
Children are welcome on the field. We want every member of your family to enjoy it! Not just the 4 legged variety! But we ask that they must be supervised by an adult at all times, we appreciate you’re having fun but please prevent them from shouting or screaming – to respect neighbours.
Gate Code
Will be sent via email once a booking has been made.
Covid-19
Please adhere to the current government guidelines. Please use hand sanitiser before and after touching the gate.
If a user has over run please call us on 07375 200909 and we will call the person. Please do not approach them.
Data
We only retain your contact details in the event of having to contact you regarding your booking. The information is not shared to any other parties.
General
We agree to provide the services stated in this agreement in a reliable, caring and trustworthy manner. In consideration of these services and as an express condition thereof, the Client expressly waives and relinquishes any and all claims against The Field at Field / R P Atkin/ Atkin Farms.
